This partnership combines the violin virtuosity of Christian Howes, with the multi-dimensional composing aesthetic of Michael Jefry Stevens. Virtuoso Christian Howes was voted #1 Rising Star on violin in the Downbeat Critics' poll in 2011. He toured for the State Department in Ukraine and Montenegro, has performed at Lincoln Center, and played with jazz guitarist Les Paul for 11 years.
Pianist Michael Jefry Stevens combines a jazz and classical aesthetic. He was Margaret Lee Croft Fellow at the The MacDowell Colony. His cd with Oliver Lake, Flow, was voted in the top 10 cds of 2016 by All About Jazz critic, Budd Kopman, and he recently completed an improvised recording in London with percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie, due for release in the Fall 2017.
